About Friends of PASO

“With a little help from our friends…”

The work that’s being done at PASO to help and support our community members, friends and loved ones living with HIV cannot be done without a little help from our friends - our loyal volunteers, donors, patrons, staff, and supporters.

PASO’s services are mostly funded by state and federal grants, which are allocated for specific, beneficial, and needed services. However, there are other needs that our clients have that PASO can meet with the use of donations from private foundations and local contributors. For example, we have a Children’s Christmas program, where Santa (Case Manager Nan) enlists her elves (PASO Board Members and volunteers) to fulfill the wish lists of PASO Clients’ children, bringing happiness and smiles during the holiday season. Another way PASO uses funds from private donors is to supplement the grant funds, allowing PASO to buy more HIV medication, send more clients to the doctor or mental health professional, collaborate with area clinicians for HIV testing and Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP), and support more clients with wrap-around care.

Please consider becoming a Friend of PASO, and invite your friends to do the same!

The Panhandle AIDS Support Organization, Inc. (PASO) is a not-for-profit support agency.

Join us for an evening of fun, good food, and great friends!
